The quality of the goods tendered or auctioned covers the full spectrum of run-of-mine productions and ranges from gem to near gem qualities, including sawables (Z), makeables (MB), clivages (CL), crystals (CRY), fancy shapes, smalls, rejections, industrial diamonds and boart.
Parcels are assorted for viewings according to a consistent methodology and clinical assorting criteria. Bespoke diamond sales of exceptionals and specials may also be organised for large stones.
Inspection of the goods is either conducted in-house or in the public viewings facilities of any diamond bourses, including at AWDC (Antwerp World Diamond Council), DDE (DMCC Dubai Diamond Exchange), BDB (Bharat Diamond Bourse), IDE (Israel Diamond Exchange) or Hong Kong.
The provenance and full traceability of the diamonds offered are guaranteed through an integrated stock management system and DIATOMIS regularly supplies diamond productions from the following origins: Angola, Australia, Botswana, Canada, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Lesotho, Namibia, Russia, South Africa, or Zimbabwe.
To enable diamond miners to tender or auction their production with great confidence, the bidding process is securely conducted though a transparent online bidding process that takes place on an online bidding platform that has been developed by Aramis Censio and is operated by Diamond Trading NV.
